The Republican Crime Syndicate began its inexorable take-over of our democracy with the assassination of John F. Kennedy over forty years ago. The message was clear to all the rest of those at the top of our power structure: we murdered a president and got away with it.

They went on to kill more great men: some famous like Robert Kennedy, who would have beaten Richard Nixon easily in 1968, and Martin Luther King; and many more, just everyday heroes ...

They have managed to consolidate their power in the media and in Washington and on Wall Street. They have stolen two presidential elections. Most of the Bill of Rights has been gutted. We are sending men to a war that mostly functions as a huge cash-dump for a company once run by the vice-president. Our children are dying there. Republican perverts are preying on children in Congress, while other Repube perverts look the other way or help cover up.
